We interrupt the countdown celebration to Blood is Thicker Than Lots of Stuff for an important announcement: the audiobook for Red Right Hand, the second book in my post-apocalyptic superhero trilogy, is now available!

I love what Joe brings to these books, and have been thrilled to see so many people enjoying the first book’s audio version over the past year. For all of you who have been waiting for Joe’s take on the sequel, wait no longer!
A Cape’s life in the post-Break world is one of love, fame, duty, grief, and death… and Damian’s right there in the middle of it all, a damaged teenager trying to do what he thinks is right, regardless of the cost. Joe gives Damian’s story an energy and pathos that extends well beyond whatever my words could manage on their own. We’re fortunate to have found him and I can’t imagine anyone else narrating this world and these characters, or bringing the whole thing to a close with One Tin Soldier next year.
If you’re looking to hire a narrator with gravitas, a hell of a work ethic, and the best bed & breakfast in New York state, do yourself a favor and check him out!!
I’ve also shared Joe’s kind words from his own post on Facebook, as he does a better job of capturing the series’ core than I have in 100+ posts:
“As an audiobook narrator, I’ve been fortunate enough to work on some fantastic projects here in the early years of my recording career. None have been more satisfying than giving voice to Damian Banach – the necromancer/reluctant hero of
Chris Tullbane’s “Murder of Crows” series. Damian is a damaged, but empathetic young guy with a hideously blossoming talent who’s searching his way through a world that challenges him to be a man of principle as well as a selective killer.
The audiobook for Book 2 in the trilogy dropped on Audible today and I’m proud to recommend it to my friends. Chris is a gifted writer and his dystopian world of super-powered men and women is propulsive and grounded in an emotional realism that makes his Post-Break terrain an enjoyable (if occasionally unnerving) place to visit.
Check out Red Right Hand (as well as its predecessor See These Bones). I think you’ll dig it.”
Thank you, Joe!
